U.S. Judges Refused to Recuse as Defendants
Full Disclosure Network(R) Video News Report (9 min)
WASHINGTON, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Full Disclosure Network(R) presents a nine minute video news report on what has been described as a "bombshell cover-up" by Federal and State Court Judges in the civil contempt of court case of prominent Anti-Trust Attorney Richard I. Fine who is being held in L.A. County Central Men's jail in solitary "coercive confinement." The video is available at the URL: http://fulldisclosure.net/Blogs/81.php and is part of an on-going series entitled "Judicial Benefits & Court Corruption."
Mardi Mason and Fred Sottile, the pro-bono team assisting Richard Fine who is representing himself "In-Pro-Per" describe irregular court procedures involving Magistrate Judge Carla Woehrle and Judge John F. Walter. They point to the Pacer website of the U.S. California Central District Court to substantiate their claim of irregularities, where the judges signed orders in the case that are available for viewing. A copy of the Pacer Docket page is available here: www.scribd.com/doc/22912444/Pacer-Docket-Case-09-Cv-7943.
Court documents cited in the video allege that Federal Judge Magistrate Carla Woehrle and Judge John F. Walter not only failed to recuse themselves but dismissed the case that named them as defendants. A copy of Richard Fine's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (09-cv-7943) outlining the challenged actions of the Judges is available here: http://scribd.com/doc/22869100.
Richard Fine was sentenced indefinitely to Los Angeles County Men's Central jail on March 4, 2009 for civil contempt of court, without bail, or a release date or a hearing date following his attempt to disqualify Superior Court Judge David Yaffe. Fine alleged that Yaffe had received and failed to disclose illegal payments from the County of Los Angeles, a party to the case where Richard Fine was representing the Marina Strand Colony II Homeowners Assn. v. County of Los Angeles. Richard Fine served as an Anti-Trust attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and holds a PhD in International law. He is representing himself "In-Pro-Per" from his jail cell.
