'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's...' Took Place Saturday, November 21st

A benefit evening for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research

Hosted by Denis Leary with a Musical Performance by Gregg Allman

What: A benefit evening of comedy and music to raise funds for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The evening featured a selection of crowd favorites from musical legend Gregg Allman who was joined by Steven Tyler, Elvis Costello, & John Popper. The crowd was also entertained by comedians Denis Leary and The Daily Show's Rob Riggle. Around 900 guests including Michael's friends from the worlds of television and film joined New York's business, social and financial leaders to raise $4.3 million for Parkinson's research.

Who: Host Committee members Tracy Pollan & Michael J. Fox, Julianne Moore & Bart Freundlich, NBA star Brian Grant, Ryan Reynolds, and Helen & Martin Scorsese.
