With participants from Chihuahua, Jalisco, Puebla, Tlaxcala, the State of Mexico and Mexico City, the teachers represent a comprehensive cross-section of public school teachers across Mexico.

The format of the event is a three-day session held September 24-26 of presentations by leading opinion leaders of Mexico, as well as dialog for each module and group dynamic sessions with the teachers. Presentations include "The Role of Government in Mexico," by Sergio Sarmiento; "Freedom and Property as a Foundation for Economic Growth," by Fernando Dworak, legislative expert and columnist; "The importance of a Culture of Legality for Development," by Dr. Jose Buendia H., former foreign correspondent in Madrid and Havana, expert on legality, professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana and journalist; "The Role of Teaching in Economic Development," by Dr. Francisco Hidalgo, e-learning expert, professor of IT at the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluna and Director of the Fundacion Universitaria Iberoamericana in Mexico; "Why Are There Rich and Poor Countries?" by Dr. Daniel Castillo Briones, corporate communications expert; "Why Mexico Isn't a Successful Country," by Dr. Macario Schettino, ITESM professor, author and political commentator; and "The Importance of the Private Sector in the Development of Society," by Ana Rosa Zuart Trejo, marketing expert and founder of the Grupo Cimientos Fundacion anti-discrimination organization.
