Ghost Hunting Documentary 'Investigating the Afterlife' to Be Released on DVD September 29th
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning filmmaker Shane Free's feature-length ghost hunting documentary "Investigating the Afterlife" will be released on DVD on September 29th and will be available for purchase on Amazon.com and Ghostchannel.TV.
Conceived in the spirit of supernatural investigations such as those seen on the Sci Fi Channel's "Ghost Hunters" series, the documentary premiered to rave reviews at the Bare Bones Film festival in April 2009. The film follows Free and his friends and family as they visit some of America's most unique haunted hotspots -- including Gettysburg, Pa.'s Cashtown Inn, and the Prospect Place mansion in Trinway, Ohio -- as Free attempts to discover the truth about the afterlife for himself.
"The film is intended to show ghost hunting as honest as possible, documenting what truly happens on these investigations," said Free, whose lifelong passion for horror films, ghost stories and the supernatural inspired him to develop "Investigating the Afterlife."
