Tinsel town legends Ernest and Tova Borgnine have each earned accolades in their respective fields this year. Tova, Chairman and founder of The Tova Corporation, a multi-million dollar beauty products company and leading multimedia retailer QVC, received the Retailer of the Year Award at the Fragrance Foundation Ceremonies in New York City for pioneering the sale of perfume on television. Borgnine, who has been described as a phenomenon in the American fragrance industry, has been recognized for creating a line of top-selling fragrances and for her innovative method of marketing directly to consumers via television, a medium that is scent-proof; hence Tova's unique ability to sell without smell.

Academy Award-winning actor Earnest Borgnine, who received an Oscar for his groundbreaking performance in "Marty" in 1955, was nominated for an Emmy Award for his guest appearance on the final episodes of "ER". Borgnine beat out returning regulars George Clooney, Eriq La Salle and Noah Wyle for his role as a loving husband dealing with the death of his wife.
