"We're very excited to be partnering with UCP of Central Arizona for this special screening of Shooting Beauty," states Jason Carney, Executive Director of the Phoenix Film Foundation. "The film was loved by audiences at the Phoenix Film Festival back in April and, when we considered doing another screening of the film, UCP was the perfect partner."
Dan Rossi, Executive Director of UCP of Central Arizona, states, "We are proud to partner with the Phoenix Film Foundation for the screening of Shooting Beauty. It is a great film that really captures the true meaning of UCP's tag line 'life without limits for people with disabilities.' It shares the message that people with disabilities are just like you and me; they have dreams, wants, desires, likes, and dislikes and want opportunities to play active and meaningful roles in their communities."
Annually, UCP of Central Arizona provides comprehensive programming for over 2,500 children and adults with various disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and learning disabilities.
The Phoenix Film Foundation is the largest non-profit film organization in the state of Arizona. With the Phoenix Film Festival, IFP-Phoenix, Arizona Student Film Festival, International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival, and the Phoenix Film Society, the opportunities to be part of film are limitless all year long.
