Band Revisits Hits on 'In A Different Light' Set Contains 2 All New Songs Including Single 'At the End of the Day' North American, Australian and European Release Date Oct. 6

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- 429 Records, the ever expanding arm of the Savoy Label Group (SLG) and home of the finest in rock, alternative and Americana artists, is proud to announce the signing of seminal Portland rockers Everclear to the label! In an auspicious multi-record deal, the band will initiate the collaboration with IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT -- a collection of newly interpreted recordings of some of their greatest hits. The brainchild of front man Art Alexakis, the album also includes two new Alexakis-penned songs, "Here Comes the Darkness" and "At the End of the Day." IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT will be released on 429 Records on October 6th in North America, in Australia by Universal Australia and Europe by Proper Music Distribution. The band will hit the road in support of IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT playing shows across the U.S. through the end of the year starting in the Northeast October 5th. Also, fans can expect a collection of all new songs in the spring of 2010 courtesy of 429 Records. The band will embark on an extensive spring/summer tour around its release.

IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT is a fresh and intimate take on multi-platinum selling Everclear's most popular songs. The collection was produced by singer Art Alexakis. The band is managed by Peter Asher and Gayle Boulware of Strategic Artist Management and is represented by Danny Hayes of Davis, Shapiro, Lewitt & Hayes, LLP and Pete Pappalardo at AGI for touring.
