Just in Time for Football Season, New Interactive Application and On Demand Programming Enhance the Game-Watching Experience for Fans

DALLAS, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T U-verse(SM) TV customers can kickoff the football season with new content and features that make watching their favorite teams even better. AT&T* today announced the availability of "College Football Extras," a new On Demand category featuring content from several top college football programs, and the return of the Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football application -- both available at no extra cost.

"Our new football content and fantasy application improve how you can stay on top of your college teams and fantasy football leagues. Alumni and college football fans from across the country can now follow their teams with a new "College Football Extras" On Demand category that features free, unique content from top college programs, including Georgia Tech, The University of Connecticut, The University of Kansas, The University of Southern California, The University of Texas and all of the Big Ten Conference teams. "College Football Extras" will offer 2008 season highlights, a 2009 season preview, and more content throughout the season from each university.

Fantasy football die-hards are able to manage their fantasy teams right from their U-verse TV with the return of last year's popular Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football application. The app allows you to simply and conveniently track your fantasy football team and receive customized information on your favorite professional football teams through the AT&T U-bar.

Customers can set up their fantasy league and team preferences online at http://att.yahoo.com/football by using their AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet master account. They can then automatically track the progress of their fantasy team -- including current team matchups and league standings -- through the U-verse app. The app also provides up-to-date professional league game stats, including the top passing, rushing and touchdown stats for each player and team; scoring logs with a brief description of how each score in the game was made and by which player; and league leaders in receiving yards, tackles, touchdowns and more.

Additionally, to coincide with the start of football season, AT&T U-verse has launched a new "Classic Sports Movies" On Demand category which features some of the most popular sports movies of all time. The titles will range from $2 to $6 per rental, and are available in Standard Definition (SD), High Definition (HD) or both.

U-verse TV customers can also order the ESPN GamePlan package for an Early Bird Special of $115 online at http://uverse.att.com/ through Sept. 4. ESPN GamePlan offers maximum college football coverage every Saturday from September through December with up to 12 games per week, featuring key matchups and rivalries from top conferences including: ACC, Big 12, Big East, SEC, PAC-10, MAC, Sun Belt and WAC.**
