A Star-Filled Evening with The AFA's Illuminations Los Angeles

A Star-Filled Evening with The AFA's Illuminations Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Fertility Association will hold its 7th annual Illuminations LA benefit on April 4th at Villa de Leon, a landmark estate in the bluffs of Castellammare in Pacific Palisades. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of Southern California's finest examples of Old World craftsmanship.

At this year's Illuminations LA, The AFA will honor Dr. Daoshing Ni of Tao of Wellness with the Joyce M. Vargyas, MD, Visionary Award, and the cast of ABC's Brothers and Sisters will be presented with the Advocacy Award. Brenda Strong will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies, and Jennifer Beals and Luke Macfarlane will be among the award presenters at the event, which is designed to raise much-needed support and education funds for The American Fertility Association.

Come enjoy the food of LA's wildly popular Katana and Boa, sip on martinis provided by Bombay Sapphire, and dance the night away to Southern California's premiere party band, Ram Funkshus. From start to finish, Illuminations LA 2009 will be a night to remember.

Illuminations LA is also your chance to take part in a live auction, presented by Desperate Housewives star and The AFA National spokesperson Brenda Strong. You'll get the chance to bid on some impossible-to-buy items like:

Golfing With the Stars

Tee-Off with the stars in a round of golf with Andy Garcia, George Lopez and Tom Henri at the beautiful and private Lakeside Country Club in Burbank. The course is a favorite of golf pros and celebrities alike. Afterwards, relax over a drink to recount the best shots of the day.

Desperate Housewives Private Tour

See Wisteria Lane up close and personal with your private tour guide, Desperate Housewives star Brenda Strong. Brenda will personally escort you and three friends around the set, providing the kind of commentary that only a cast member can! This is the only private tour that Brenda will offer this year.

Brothers and Sisters: Behind the Scenes

Spend the day on the set of the Emmy-nominated ABC series Brothers and Sisters. Visit the set and see your favorite stars in action, as you experience an episode in the making.
