SIRIUS XM Radio Postpones Filing of Annual Report on Form 10-K

Company will file the Form 10-K no later than March 17, 2009

NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) today announced that it will file a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to delay filing its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2008.

SIRIUS XM is in the process of preparing its Annual Report on Form 10-K and will file the Form 10-K no later than March 17, 2009. The Company noted that senior management has been focused on the recent refinancing transactions and needs additional time to complete its Form 10-K.

The company also announced that it will file a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its two subsidiaries, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and XM Satellite Radio Inc., delaying filing of their Annual Reports on Form 10-K to not later than March 17, 2009.

SIRIUS XM also plans to hold a conference call at 8:00 am ET on March 17, 2009 to discuss its financial and operating results. Investors and the press can listen to the conference call via the company's website, www.sirius.com, and on its satellite radio service by tuning to SIRIUS channel 126 or XM channel 90.
