Peter Nielsen Has a New Home on WXYZ-TV!

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- WXYZ is proud to announce that Peter's Principles, featuring health and fitness expert Peter Nielsen, will now be seen exclusively on Channel 7 in the Detroit Market beginning March 20, 2009.

For more than 15 years Peter Nielsen has hosted the nationally syndicated Peter's Principles TV and radio shows. He is the author of numerous books and videos on health and fitness and is a frequent contributing writer for local and national health related publications. He is also an award winning personal trainer. Now he is bringing his wealth of experience and passion for health and fitness to Channel 7.

The half hour program will air the third Friday of every month from 12:30 - 1:00 pm following Action News at Noon. The show will then be repeated the following Saturday from 4:30 - 5 am.

Every Saturday Peter will join the WXYZ morning anchors to be part of their newscast with simple health & fitness tips the whole family can use.
