NEW YORK, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Jo Koy stars in the World Television Premiere of his all-new COMEDY CENTRAL original stand-up special. "Jo Koy: Don't Make Him Angry" premieres Sunday, January 4 at 10:00 p.m.

Taped by COMEDY CENTRAL at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College in New York City, Jo Koy takes a hilarious, edgy and envelope-pushing look at everything from France, his Filipino mother to his very precocious son. He brings his dynamic energy and wit to his favorite topics without holding back. As one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch" he's been hailed as a "comic for the people" - just don't make him angry. "Jo Koy: Don't Make Him Angry" was executive produced by Jo Koy, Troy Miller and Tracey Baird. Troy Miller served as director. Elizabeth Porter served as the COMEDY CENTRAL executive in charge of production for this special. Jo Koy is represented by CAA and Lee Kernis of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Jo Koy starred in his own half-hour "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" and has been featured on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," where he received one of the only standing ovations in the show's stand-up history. Jo Koy has also just completed a sold-out tour in Australia.
