Jewish Elvis and the New York Sephardic Music Festival Light Up the Holidays on Xmas Day

NEW YORK, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Shake, Rattle, 'n Shalom with JELVIS, the Jewish Elvis, at NYC's Highline Ballroom on the 5th night of Chanukah, aka Christmas, for a rockin' musical celebration of the holidays.

The King of Lox 'n Roll will don his Blue Suede Yarmulke and sing hits like "Shul House Rock," "Are You Hungry Tonight," and "Oy Vey, My Way." JELVIS has something for everyone in this celebration of the Festival of Lights, the birth of Jesus, Buddha's enlightenment, Allah's Ramadan and Ali Baba's Quick Delivery Car Service. Christian, Buddhist, Moslem, Jew -- you all have a little Elvis in you!

JELVIS is joined by his Merry Meshugganah Maccabees, including "Guitar Hero" Hiro Keitora, Shiksa-ettes Tomoko Fukuda and Sahirah, belly dancer Bahiya, and sword swallower Adam The First Real Man. Special appearance by the puppet Elfis.

The celebration continues as all JELVIS audience members get FREE admission to the New York Sephardic Music Festival that follows, featuring the rich and sensual sounds of The Piamenta Band, Diwan, and Eden Mi Oedem.
