"We are very excited to test our first Food Network cooking classes with a trusted partner like The Art Institute," said Sergei Kuharsky, General Manager, Scripps Enterprises, parent company for Food Network. "Food Network is all about making cooking fun and accessible to everyone, and we know our Atlanta fans will have a great time experiencing the network in a brand new way."

The hands-on classes are geared toward cooks of all experience levels, offering tips and techniques from Food Network's behind-the-scenes team of experts, the Food Network Kitchens. Developed in conjunction with The Art Institute, participants will learn what the pros know and cook in a fun, approachable way. Other classes will cover tailgating, healthy dinners, quick breads, an easy Italian dinner party, a Latin fiesta, traditional Southern cooking, and more. The classes are part of a larger partnership between the network and the culinary school, as they have partnered before on The Art Institutes Best Teen Chef competition and most recently on Food Network's new mini-series, The Chef Jeff Project.

"It's an honor for The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Atlanta to host the first hands-on Food Network Cooking Classes through our community education department. These new classes offer the community an exciting way to experience Food Network while enjoying the use of our professional kitchens and expert instruction from chef instructors and alumni of our culinary arts degree programs," commented President Janet S. Day of The Art Institute of Atlanta.

The Food Network products used in these classes will be provided by Kohl's Department Stores. To shop the complete assortment of Food Network-branded kitchen products visit your local Kohl's or Kohls.com/FoodNetwork.

The classes will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays at The Art Institute of Atlanta for $119 per class per person. For more information or to request a reservation, go to www.foodnetworkclasses.com.
