James Taylor to Perform Material from New Album 'Covers' at Borders(R) in Ann Arbor Oct. 2
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Who: Over the course of his long career, James Taylor has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and five Grammy Awards for a catalog running from 1970's "Sweet Baby James" to his Grammy Award-winning efforts "Hourglass" (1997) and "October Road" (2002). Beginning Oct. 2 at 9 a.m., wristbands will be given out to customers in the store on a first come, first-served basis and will hold each person's place in line. Customers must have the "Covers" CD in hand in order to obtain a wristband. Customers may of course purchase the "Covers" CD at the store, but they may also bring a previously purchased "Covers" CD with them to the event to be signed. Line wristbands will be color-coded and the line will be organized by colors. Borders cannot guarantee that all customers with line wristbands will have the opportunity to meet Taylor and have their "Covers" CD signed.
Taylor will sign up to two copies of the "Covers" CD at the event. No posed photographs may be taken during the book signing and no memorabilia, other CDs produced by Taylor, or vinyl albums will be signed.
