SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrities from television, film and music all came out tonight for the taping of the sixth annual "TV Land Awards" premiering on Sunday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Steve Carell, Justin Timberlake, Robin Williams, Dick Van Dyke, Samuel L. Jackson, Teri Hatcher, Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Kathy Griffin, Ed Asner, Jack Klugman, Kim Alexis and Beverly Johnson appeared. Honorees included Mike Myers (Legacy of Laughter Award), Garry Marshall (Legend Award), the cast of "Roseanne" (Innovator Award), Lionel Richie (Icon Award) -- who took the stage to perform a medley of his greatest hits, the cast of "The Golden Girls" (Pop Culture Award), Jonathan Winters (Pioneer Award) and "The Office" (Future Classic Award). The show was taped on Sunday, June 8 at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.
The gala event featured some unforgettable moments such as when Justin Timberlake presented The Legacy of Laughter Award to Mike Myers and actors Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, Henry Winkler, Jack Klugman and Dick Van Dyke gave a heartwarming tribute to writer, producer, actor and director Garry Marshall who received The Legend Award. Samuel L. Jackson introduced music sensation and Icon Award winner Lionel Richie, who performed a medley of his greatest hits including "Hello," "Easy" and "All Night Long." In a hysterical tribute, Robin Williams presented The Pioneer Award to Jonathan Winters. The cast of "Roseanne" -- Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Martin Mull, Johnny Galecki, and even BOTH "Beckys" -- Alicia Goranson and Sarah Chalke -- were presented with the Innovator Award by Teri Hatcher. Steve Carrell presented Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Betty White of "The Golden Girls" The Pop Culture Award.

Cindy Williams, Penny Marshall, Florence Henderson, Maureen McCormick, Joan Rivers, Joyce DeWitt, Lindsay Wagner, Phyllis Diller, Sherman Hemsley and Vicki Lawrence star. THE LEGACY OF LAUGHTER AWARD
Presented by Justin Timberlake, this award is presented to performers who are funny and then funny and then funny again. They create timeless comedy by mixing the strange and the familiar, bringing to life characters, stories and moments that are both comically absurd, and, at some level, completely real. This year's recipient is Mike Myers. Last year, this award was presented to Lucille Ball for her awe-inspiring work which continues to serve as an inspiration and a guiding force.
THE LEGEND AWARD
Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, Henry Winkler, Jack Klugman and Dick Van Dyke presented The Legend Award to Garry Marshall. This award is presented to an entertainer whose body of work has stood the test of time and ranks among the most memorable and celebrated in TV and movie history.
THE PIONEER AWARD
Robin Williams presented The Pioneer Award to Jonathan Winters. This is given to performers who have distinguished themselves by pushing back the frontiers of the media and bringing true originality to the world of entertainment.
THE INNOVATOR AWARD
Teri Hatcher presented The Innovator Award to "Roseanne," a series whose influence is still felt and evident in television today. This award is given to a show that carved out new territory, redefined elements of the genre and opened new pathways for others to follow.
THE ICON AWARD
Samuel L. Jackson presented The Icon Award to Lionel Richie. This award is presented to a performer whose talent is unmatched and whose fame and longevity are immeasurable. This artist's body of work transcends generations and is recognized by peers and fans internationally.
THE POP CULTURE AWARD
Steve Carell presented The Pop Culture Award to the cast of "The Golden Girls." This award is presented to a show that has crossed the line from television series to pop culture phenomenon.
