Discovery Kids' Hit Series Adventure Camp Returns for Season Two

- All-New Season Kicks Off With a Sneak Peek on Saturday, March 8 at 9 PM ET/PT -

NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Kids takes the concept of summer camp to a whole new level with season two of ADVENTURE CAMP, the action-packed series that follows eight kids-four American and four British-as they embark on the experience of a lifetime. Season two premieres Saturday, March 8 at 9 PM ET/PT, following the finale of ENDURANCE: FIJI. Subsequent airings will run on the following schedule:

   -- On Saturday, March 15 at 8 PM ET/PT, viewers will be treated to a      double dose of ADVENTURE CAMP with the repeat of episode one followed      by the premiere of episode two at 8:30 PM ET/PT.    -- On Saturday, March 22, episode 3 will premiere at 8 PM ET/PT.  The      remaining 13 episodes will also premiere in this timeslot.   

ADVENTURE CAMP chronicles the journey of these eight kids as they converge upon Florida to get up-close and personal with the wild and wonderful creatures of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando. Each half-hour episode captures the excitement of being away at camp and experiencing wildlife firsthand, following the campers as they gain access behind-the- scenes at Busch Gardens and SeaWorld, and voyage into the wild, observing animals in their natural habitats in daring activities like scuba diving with sharks. In addition to learning about wildlife, the campers also gain insight into each other's British and American cultures. From spiders and stingrays to gorillas and elephants, these campers have their wildlife-savvy challenged at every turn as they learn what it takes to get along with a variety of animals-and each other.
