Addictive TV Announces SXSW 2008 Performance
AUSTIN, Texas, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning London based DJ/producers & audiovisual artists Addictive TV officially announce their South by Southwest Festival 2008 performance today. South by Southwest festival and conference in Austin, Texas, takes place March 7th-16th 2008 www.sxsw.com. SXSW Music immediately follows SXSW Film with both hosting a joint closing/opening party on March 11th with Addictive TV as a headliner.
The performance will take place March 11, 2008 at the outdoor arena at Stubbs, Austin, from 8:30 to 9:30 PM following the Kaki King performance and preceding the Moby performance.
Addictive TV are known for their cutting-edge audio/video remixes and dynamic live shows, which in the last four years has seen them twice voted number #1 VJs in the World and twice placed second. In 2006, Addictive TV became the first group to officially remix a Hollywood movie, creating an award winning Internet viral for New Line Cinema, remixing the Antonio Banderas film Take The Lead for its promotional campaign. They created TV commercials for Samuel L. Jackson's cult movie Snakes on a Plane and directed the Rapture Riders video for EMI, remixing Blondie vs The Doors. They then remixed the Sony anime movie Tekkonkinkreet for its Japanese promo campaign and New Line Cinema's action movie Shoot 'Em Up, starring Clive Owen for its web campaign.
