Bloomberg TV is Named International Channel of the Year by AIB
LONDON and NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) service has been named the 2007 International Television Channel of the Year by The Association for International Broadcasting (AIB).
The annual Media Excellence Awards are assigned by The Association for International Broadcasting for outstanding achievements in broadcasting and new media. The applications are reviewed by an independent international panel of judges. Winners were announced at the third annual AIB Media Excellence Awards held in London last week. The Association for International Broadcasting, based in the U.K., is the industry body that serves the international media.
The BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) service was described by AIB judges as "consistently high quality and punching above its weight, successfully marrying specialist material with more mainstream coverage of news and current affairs."
