Wheel of Fortune Contestant Search Comes to Rosemont Theatre in October

CHICAGO, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Wheel of Fortune's search for contestants is coming to the Rosemont Theatre. Wheel fans who would like a chance to audition for the March 2008 shows at Navy Pier can come out and participate in the Wheelmobile events held Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28th from 1-5 p.m. both days. The final Wheelmobile contestant search will take place on Monday, October 29th from 5-9 p.m. All contestant searches will take place at the Rosemont Theatre located at 5400 North River Road in Rosemont, Illinois.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE, America's #1 syndicated series, will originate from Chicago, the hometown of Pat Sajak, on March 7, 8 and 9th. Sajak, White and the entire Los Angeles-based crew will set up shop at Navy Pier to tape three weeks of shows, which will air in May 2008.

Taping in Chicago is part of the season-long celebration of the historic 25th anniversary of the show that includes taping at Radio City Music Hall in New York and more cash and prizes.

An impressive 47 million people watch Wheel of Fortune every week, and its ratings rival most prime-time shows. Wheel of Fortune can be seen on ABC 7, the top-rated television station in Chicago, Monday through Saturday at 6:30 p.m. (CT) and is seen on over 200 stations across the country.
