"We are honored to have received these awards from one of our strategic partners," said Scott Friedlander, GTSI Executive Vice President. "It has been exciting and certainly a successful journey throughout the many years of our partnership delivering reliable mobile computing solutions to public sector customers. We are especially grateful to Rance Poehler, Panasonic's president, and the capable Panasonic organization we have worked with. I am confident that together, we will continue on the successful track while both companies continue to move forward in serving our customer base. This partnership will remain strong with what we established more than a decade ago."

"GTSI has been a critical partner in helping establish Panasonic Toughbook notebooks as the preeminent mobile computing solution for mission-critical users in both civilian and military government applications and this reward is recognition of their longstanding commitment," said Rance M. Poehler, president, Panasonic Computer Solutions Company. "We believe GTSI will continue to be a cornerstone in our ability to deliver the next wave of reliable mobile and wireless computing solutions to government users."

"We are also especially proud of what I believe are the two most significant accomplishments of our partnership -- establishing a standard for rugged and reliable laptops in the government and providing unprecedented support for first responders," continued Mr. Friedlander. "Together, we made Panasonic's line of Toughbook notebooks the de facto standard across the Department of Defense and more recently, throughout other government agencies whose mobile workers need a tough and reliable laptop.

"Through our U.S. Communities contract, we have 'armed' first responders at the state and local level with in-car mobile evidence capture solutions incorporating computers, cameras and wireless technology, to substantially increase their ability to protect their communities. We have supplied over $125 Million in product across more than 20 states to help police catch criminals, reduce and prevent crime, and aid other first responders to work safer and more efficiently."
