The Aronson Foundation Grants $10K Award to Musical Theater Center

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Aronson Foundation, a charitable organization, is pleased to announce that it is awarding a $10,000 grant to The Musical Theater Center (MTC) in support of its educational programs, including their educational outreach and scholarship programs.

Aronson & Company, a Washington area accounting and consulting firm, formed the Aronson Foundation to address the needs of the community we have served for over 40 years. With a primary focus on the needs of children, the Foundation grants charitable contributions to organizations who have dedicated themselves to providing services that enhance our world and help the people in it thrive and succeed. All of this is made possible through the generosity and enthusiasm of Aronson & Company staff, officers, clients and friends.

The Musical Theater Center (MTC) has its roots in a performing ensemble of eight young artists called "Young Americans of Washington" who performed at the historic National Theater in Washington, DC in 1984. In 1995, the organization's name changed to better reflect the mission and wide range of performing arts activities offered. Today, MTC is one of the leading performing arts education organizations for young people in the metropolitan Washington area and is dedicated to providing school age students the highest quality performing arts education with a focus on training in the musical theater disciplines of voice, dance and acting. In addition, MTC's several community outreach programs provide arts education opportunities for underserved populations.
