BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Anchor Bay Entertainment is proud to announce the upcoming DVD release of JEROME BIXBY'S THE MAN FROM EARTH on Nov. 13, 2007. In advance of that, JEROME BIXBY'S THE MAN FROM EARTH also made its theatrical premiere at the Historic Hemet Theatre in Hemet, California on Oct. 19. Future theatrical engagements include the Broadway Theater of Pitman, New Jersey starting on Nov. 3, and in Chicago at the Gene Siskel Film Center beginning Nov. 16 (followed by a Q&A with director Richard Schenkman).

A story that transcends both time and space, JEROME BIXBY'S THE MAN FROM EARTH is based on the last screenplay written by Bixby, the acclaimed writer of the two-time Academy Award(R)-winning film, Fantastic Voyage and the original "Star Trek" and "The Twilight Zone" television series. JEROME BIXBY'S THE MAN FROM EARTH recently screened at the Rhode Island Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prize for Best Screenplay and First Place for Best Feature. The DVD will be available for $26.97 and will offer enticing bonus materials including four featurettes and two audio commentaries.
