Starz Entertainment Promotes Steve Waldo Belgard to Senior Director of Entertainment Publicity

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment LLC announced the promotion of veteran marketer Steve Waldo Belgard to senior director of entertainment publicity. He works out of the corporate headquarters in Englewood, Colo., and reports to Chelsye Burrows, vice president, programming publicity.

Belgard is responsible for boosting media and public awareness of Starz Entertainment's original and on air programming. He also works closely with Starz Media in Burbank, CA. Belgard has been with Starz Entertainment for nine years, most recently as director of entertainment publicity and has managed successful public relations campaigns for Starz Originals such as Buy the Ticket Take the Ride: Hunter S. Thompson on Film and Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of The Slasher Film, among others. Most recently he promoted the "Starz Comedy Hour," including the original series Head Case and The Bronx Bunny Show. Upcoming projects include Fog City Mavericks: The Filmmakers of San Francisco and Bloodsucking Cinema, a special on vampires.
