NEW YORK, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Partnership for a Drug- Free America and Yahoo! announced today that Mary Hart, host of Entertainment Tonight, will help launch the Partnership's new cause marketing initiative, Time To Talk(TM) (www.TimeToTalk.org), by posing a question to the Yahoo! Yahoo! Answers is a new way to find and share information. It's an interactive Web site where people ask each other questions on any topic, and get answers by sharing facts, opinions, and personal insights and experiences.

Mary Hart will pose a parent-targeted question that will be featured on Yahoo! Answers during the week of August 6, commemorating the launch of the Time To Talk campaign. Hart's question will reflect Time To Talk's mission to encourage and empower parents to have ongoing conversations with their teens about the risks of drug and alcohol abuse. Parents are encouraged to visit Yahoo! Answers (answers.yahoo.com) and respond to Hart's question during the launch week.

"We are thrilled to have Mary Hart join the Partnership in promoting Time To Talk on Yahoo! Answers," said Steve Pasierb, president & CEO of the Partnership. "Not only is she the mother of a teenage son, but her extensive support of children's causes makes Ms. Hart ideal to help build awareness for the need to support and encourage parents to have frequent dialogues with their kids to help keep them healthy."

During her 25-year career with Entertainment Tonight, Hart has given her time to several children's causes and organizations including the Children's Miracle Network, Childhood Cancer Foundation, and ChildHelp USA. She also received the Samaritan Award from the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) for her work on behalf of numerous children's charities.

"I know I am a big influence in my son's life and like most parents, I want to make sure he is equipped to make healthy choices," said Mary Hart. "That's why I'm proud to be associated with the Partnership and this innovative campaign that will help parents and caregivers safeguard their children from the risks of drug and alcohol abuse."
