Winners To Be Announced September 15
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast SportsNet, the leader in sports coverage, news and analysis in the Philadelphia region, was honored with 15 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award Nominations. The awards recognize excellence in news, programming and individual achievement in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The nominations were announced last evening at a reception hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Television Academy. Comcast SportsNet has been awarded 56 Emmys since the network launched in 1997.

The Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards, which annually honor excellence in news, programming and individual achievement in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, will be presented September 15 at the Philadelphia Marriott in ceremonies that mark the 25th Anniversary of the regional awards program.
