Baltimore's Pier Six Concert Pavilion Presents a Live Concert and Fireworks July 4 2007

BALTIMORE, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrate the nation's Independence Day 2007 (July 4th) with Rockin' The Colonies Tour, featuring The Psychedelic Furs, The Fixx, and The Alarm. These eighties top-charting U.K. bands will be live in concert for the July Fourth festivities in Baltimore's Inner Harbor at Pier Six Pavilion for one night only.

The three band line-up will perform immediately prior to the Inner Harbor's biggest fireworks celebration presented by PNC Bank at 9:30pm. The view of the fireworks from the pavilion is waterfront and spectacular. Coming for the show and staying for the fireworks is encouraged.

The Psychedelic Furs scored several U.S. top 50 hits including the title track for the movie "Pretty in Pink," and the single "Love My Way". The FIXX, a London based new age band of college buddies in the 1980's drove mainstream pop for their money. Their album, Reach the Beach, went certified platinum and they have numerous top 40 singles. The Alarm, formed in Wales in the early 80's hits include "Declaration," "Presence of Love," "Rescue Me," and "Rain in the Summertime".
