TVN Entertainment Supports VOD Awareness With Two Hot Spots for Affiliates

Follow-up With Direct Mail Campaign to Re-enforce Message

BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TVN Entertainment today introduced a series of new 30-second consumer awareness spots, with supporting direct mail campaigns, for TVN's VOD affiliates. The spots are part of TVN's ongoing marketing programs designed to increase consumer understanding of the convenience, functionality, and ease of Video on Demand.

Earlier this year, TVN partnered with NBC Universal, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, and Warner Bros. on a "Watch & Win" consumer awareness promotion with Bresnan, Charter, and Mediacom. Results from this promotion showed double digit increases in new users to Video on Demand and a lift in movie buy rates among participating cable partners during and after the campaign.
