Regis Philbin Rings in the Holidays With New CD Collection of Christmas Favorites

BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether you've been naughty or nice, Santa just might bring you a special treat at holiday time: "The Regis Philbin Christmas Album," an all-new Hollywood Records collection of holiday favorites performed by one of America's most beloved TV icons. The 12-track set features Regis on vocals along with guests like Steve Tyrell (who also produced the album), Regis' wife Joy, and even the Donald himself: Donald Trump, who teams with Regis in a sensational version of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." "The Regis Philbin Christmas Album" arrived in stores September 27.

Regis made his Hollywood Records recording debut last year with "When You're Smiling," a collection of American pop standards and his first new recording in 36 years. Now the popular star of "Live with Regis and Kelly" returns with a set of beloved songs of the season. The package also includes Philbin family Christmas snapshots taken over the years, and a delightful essay from Regis recalling his favorite holiday memories.

Tracks on the CD include Irving Berlin's "White Christmas, "Marshmallow World" (sung with Steve Tyrell), "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" (featuring Donald Trump), "Winter Wonderland," "Silver Bells," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," Mel Torme's 'The Christmas Song," " Let It Snow," "Where Do We Go For Christmas," and a pair of duets Regis sings with his wife Joy, "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

Regis Philbin has been a TV star for decades, but the New York native has also been performing in his own musical nightclub act since 1967. Regis began his live touring opening for the likes of Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Tony Bennett and Don Rickles. Whether TV talk show host, nightclub performer or recording artist, Regis Philbin has always been a star for all seasons.
