Experienced Media & Entertainment Veteran and MTV, Nickelodeon and A&E Start-Up Executive to Help Lead Company through Major Growth & Expansion

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Players Network (PNTV.OB) announced today that the company's Board of Directors has appointed media & entertainment veteran Andrew H. Orgel to the position of President & Chief Operating Officer. Orgel will be responsible for overseeing the growth and expansion of the Players Network brand as the leader in the gaming lifestyle category. His focus will be on developing core assets, including content, distribution, management and capitalization; and building revenues across multiple distribution platforms, including Players Network's 24-hour Video On Demand Channel (http://www.playersnetwork.com/company/news.asp) announced October 10th, broadband, mobile, in-room and additional future digital delivery opportunities.

Andrew H. Orgel is Managing Partner of Global Media Ventures, a media network development and management company. Orgel is a media industry leader with over 25 years of experience in the startup, management and growth of successful, industry-dominant, global consumer-driven media brands. He is recognized for building strong executive teams; creative and visionary programming, innovative marketing and broad-platform distribution. He has served as an Advisor to Players Network since February.

Orgel was part of the start-up executive team at and served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing of MTV, Nickelodeon and The Movie Channel and the original Vice President, Affiliate Sales & Marketing, and later the Senior Vice President, Programming & Production of the Arts & Entertainment Network, A&E.
