Daren Leverenz Returns to Las Vegas to Reclaim His Fortune and Make Dreams Come True for Unsuspecting Sin City Tourists

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- He is more than a man with a mission -- he is a man with heart. An ambitious high roller named Daren Leverenz is gambling his way through Vegas, seeking to take back the town where he lost three million dollars in the late 1990s, while helping others along the way. The eight-episode original series, MAN VS. VEGAS, premieres Friday, Oct. 21 at 10:00-10:30 PM ET/PT followed by the second episode at 10:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT on CMT.

Daren Leverenz had it all -- home, family, career, cars and three million dollars in the bank -- before he gambled it away. MAN VS. VEGAS follows Leverenz as he returns to Las Vegas with a Robin Hood fervor, not only hell- bent on winning his money back but also focused on helping unsuspecting tourists have the Vegas experience of their lifetimes.

"I'm doing this for anyone who's ever lost," says Leverenz, who lives his credo of "go big or go home." After selling most of his assets, Leverenz hits the tables of Vegas armed with one million dollars of his own money and steely determination. It's smiles and high-fives as Leverenz takes the amateur gamblers -- from newlyweds to senior citizens -- and gives them the adrenaline rush of a high roller, coaching them on how to win and showering them with gifts and memories they will never forget. Regardless of whether he redeems himself or falls victim to Vegas again, Leverenz changes the lives of everyone he meets.

MAN VS. VEGAS is produced by Sokolobl Entertainment, with Sam Sokolow and Rob Lobl serving as executive producers. Paul Villadolid is executive in charge of production for CMT.
