AMARILLO, Texas, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hastings Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAST), a leading multimedia entertainment superstore retailer, today announced that the company is presenting the American Red Cross with donations totaling over $129,000 to aid in assisting Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. During the month of September, Hastings encouraged its customers across the country to make donations for disaster relief at the register.
