SIRIUS Satellite Radio To Simulcast NBC's 'A Concert For Hurricane Relief'

Benefit To Air Live on Friday, September 2nd at 8pm ET

NEW YORK, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) today announced it will broadcast NBC Universal Television Group's benefit "A Concert For Hurricane Relief" live on September 2nd at 8 pm ET.

"A Concert for Hurricane Relief" will feature scheduled performances by artists including Faith Hill, Aaron Neville, Tim McGraw, Harry Connick, Jr. and Wynton Marsalis, and appearance from stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Mike Myers, Hilary Swank, Lindsay Lohan, Claire Danes, John Goodman, Eric LaSalle and Eli Manning.

The one-hour benefit, hosted by Matt Lauer from NBC's New York City studios, will air live in its entirety on SIRIUS' CNBC channel 101. Listeners will be encouraged to donate to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which will provide assistance to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. SIRIUS subscribers will be reminded of the donation information on the display of their SIRIUS radios.
