The Artist: L.A.-based singer-songwriter Pete Yorn's critically acclaimed, RIAA-certified gold debut "musicforthemorningafter" produced the alternative hits "Strange Condition," "Life on a Chain," and "For Nancy," and set the stage for the New Jersey native's follow-up "Day I Forgot." Other highlights include scoring Jim Carrey's "Me, Myself & Irene, and "Just Another" was featured on "Felicity" and "Songs From Dawson's Creek, Vol. 2."

The Scene: Pete Yorn is performing a free, unannounced-until-today "Fusion Flash Concert" for "insiders" registered on http://www.fusionflashconcerts.com/ and the general public on a first-come, first-admitted "space available" basis.

Pete Yorn's concert is the 10th of 11 nationwide. The Roots led off the series in New York July 14. Jermaine Dupri followed July 16th in Atlanta. Fat Joe hip hopped into Philadelphia July 20th. Staind rocked for 12,000+ fans in Boston Aug. 9th. Collective Soul played Dallas Aug. 23. The Wallflowers hit L.A. on Sept. 1. Louis XIV hit S.F. Sept. 6. Frankie J played Miami Sept. 23, and Los Lonely Boys will rock Washington, D.C. Sept. 27. Yellowcard will play San Diego in early October at a secret location. The spontaneous series, interactive website and exclusive content is part of a national grassroots effort to amplify the street buzz surrounding the launch of the new 2006 Ford Fusion sedan.

Show Time: Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at The Vic Theatre, 3145 N. Sheffield (Sheffield and Belmont). Pete Yorn will perform live on-stage, starting at approximately 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
