NTN Communications and the National Football League Extend Licensing Agreement for the 2005 Season

License Agreement Extends Rights to Incorporate NFL Shield and Team Marks Into Flagship QB1(R) Predict-the-Play(R) Sports Game On the NTN/Buzztime iTV Network

CARLSBAD, Calif. and NEW YORK, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NTN Communications, Inc. (AMEX:NTN), a leader in interactive communications and entertainment products for the home and for the hospitality industry, and the NFL, today announced that they have extended their licensing agreement for an additional year, through the 2005 season.

The extended license agreement grants NTN the rights to feature the NFL trademark logos in its QB1 Predict-the-Play sports game application, which is distributed by the NTN/Buzztime iTV Network to more than 3,800 hospitality locations in North America. The licensing agreement also grants NTN the right to advertise and promote QB1/NFL branded materials through the 2005 season.

"QB1 has created a huge following of enthusiastic NFL fans," said Evan Kamer, Senior Director, New Media, for the NFL. "This partnership allows us to continue serving NFL fans who enjoy the excitement of playing along from their favorite sports bar."

Produced live from NTN's Buzztime iTV studio in Carlsbad, California, QB1 Predict-the-Play allows participants to compete against each other by predicting the outcome of each offensive play with points awarded based on accuracy and skill. During the 2005 season, players will compete in league competition on the NTN/Buzztime iTV Network in restaurants, sports bars and taverns across North America. Prizes include HDTVs, QB1 merchandise, and trips to the Pro Bowl(R), the NFL's All Star game held annually in Hawaii.

"It was important for us to maintain our license with the NFL to take full advantage of the marketing opportunities the relationship affords," said Stan Kinsey, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, NTN Communications, Inc. "In addition to the marketing and promotional opportunities this relationship provides to our advertising clients, an ongoing partnership will be important to further new programming concepts we are considering to expand the appeal of QB1 to our loyal player base."
