Newswomen's Club of New York Announces 2005 Front Page Awards

NEW YORK, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Newswomen's Club of New York announces the 2005 Front Page Awards to outstanding women journalists in print, broadcast and online media. Court TV anchor Catherine Crier, host of "Catherine Crier Live," will be keynote speaker when the honors are presented at the 67th annual Front Page Awards Dinner on November 10, at the National Arts Club.

In announcing the Awards, Newswomen's Club President Jeanne King said that a record number of entries were submitted this year. "We received hundreds of excellent submissions and the competition was keener than ever," she noted. Chosen by a panel of judges from media and university journalism centers throughout the country, the winners of the Newswomen's Front Page Awards are:
