Minnesota Proclaims Saturday, September 10, 2005 Official Teddy Bear Band Day
Performance Scheduled at Jesse James Days in Northfield, Minn.
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Who: TEDDY BEAR BAND Teddy Bear Band, the popular Twin Cities based children's music group, was recently notified by the Governor's office that Saturday, September 10, 2005 is designated TEDDY BEAR BAND DAY in Minnesota. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Teddy Bear Band has performed over 6000 shows since their first performance in 1985. From day one the band has focused on developmentally appropriate participation for young children. They started in Minnesota's nationally renowned Early Childhood Family Education program, in which band member Ron Gustafson is a teacher.
