Time Life has produced a special 2-hour, collectable DVD that features more than 80 of Art's funniest, most heartwarming interviews with kids. This outstanding footage has been selected from 17 years' worth of Linkletter's popular television show, House Party, which ran on CBS from 1952 -- 1969.
At a time when wholesome entertainment is increasingly harder to find, these hilarious DVDs capture the timeless wit and wisdom of children. For example, Art Linkletter asks one child, "How did your folks fall in love?" and the child replies, "I don't know, I wasn't even born yet." A little boy is asked by Linkletter, "What do your parents do for fun? He tells Art, "They gossip about their friends." Another child is asked, "Where does the tooth fairy get his money?" The boy innocently answers "He steals it from my mom's wallet at night."
