Granite Broadcasting Corporation Retains Kevin O'Brien as Consultant
NEW YORK, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Granite Broadcasting Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: GBTVK) announced today that it has engaged Kevin O'Brien to serve as a consultant to its stations, including the WB stations. Mr. O'Brien will work closely with John Deushane, Granite's Chief Operating Officer on programming acquisitions and strategic sales initiatives for 2006.
Commenting on today's announcement, Mr. Deushane said, "Granite has done a good job in reducing expenses over the last few years, and we've worked diligently to improve our stations with important strategic alliances such as our partnership with the Detroit Pistons and other local programming initiatives.
