Alpine Pictures, Inc. and Box Office Productions, LLC Solidify an Exclusive Sales Agreement With International Creative Management, Inc.

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Alpine Pictures, Inc. and Box Office Productions, LLC (BOP) have come to terms with International Creative Management, Inc. (ICM) for exclusive sales representation of the motion picture entitled LOVE IS THE DRUG. This relationship will greatly enhance the much anticipated premiere of LOVE IS THE DRUG as it is presented for competition at The Sundance Film Festival in January.

ICM is one of the world's largest talent and literary agencies, with offices in Beverly Hills, New York and London. The ICM Motion Picture Department is a worldwide organization that represents the wide array of talent necessary to develop commercially successful and award-winning theatrical films. The Motion Picture Department was a pioneer in providing the film industry with the concept of packaging a movie project -- from concept to finished film -- by bringing together the finest on and off-screen talent.

ICM's motion picture agents represent the industry's most gifted actors, directors, producers and screenwriters who have created dozens of the most critically acclaimed films in movie history! For more than 40 years, ICM's Motion Picture Department has been recognized as a leader in its field.

The film LOVE IS THE DRUG, directed by Elliott Lester and written by Wesley Strick & Steve Allison, tells the story of five recent high school graduates filled with the verve of youth and the apprehension of the issues that confront them during the summer before college. The film takes a candid look at how desire, excess and truth collide to reshape their lives, and how easily situations spin out of control.

Alpine Pictures will begin casting and pre-production in October, for DARK HONEYMOON a suspense thriller written and to be directed by David O'Malley and produced by Michael Meltzer. Filming is slated to begin in late November of this year. Alpine Pictures also expects to be in production with four feature films for 2006. Going forward with ICM, Alpine Pictures will have access to the most-promising young talent in the industry, providing these clients with the opportunity to excel and advance in the film industry.

Alpine Pictures, Inc. is a 10 year-old independent production and distribution company specializing in theatrical entertainment product with budgets up to $15 million (USD). These projects will be of strong commercial appeal and will be financed through a combination of pre-sales, production tax subsidies and gap financing.
