WeatherBug Names New Regional Sales Management: Michael Lombardi as Vice President of East Coast Sales and Mario Tota as Director of Central Sales
GAITHERSBURG, Md., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- WeatherBug, the leading provider of live, local weather information services, today announced that Michael Lombardi has joined WeatherBug as vice president of east coast sales and Mario Tota as director of central sales. Based in WeatherBug's New York City office, Lombardi will manage the day-to-day operations and growth of the east coast region and will create a National Insides Sales group. Tota, Based in WeatherBug's newly opened Dallas office, will manage all central region sales operations and growth.
Lombardi joins WeatherBug from Undertone Networks. As Vice President of East Coast Sales, he spearheaded expansion of the company's relationships with agencies and marketers. Prior to Undertone, Lombardi spent more than six years at Bloomberg Media. As Vice President of Sales for Bloomberg.com, Lombardi was credited with fostering strong client and agency relationships that resulted in year-over-year revenue growth. Lombardi also held previous sales and management positions at Bonneville International for radio stations WMVX and WDBZ in New York City and Darcey & Darcey Advertising and Public Relations.
Tota, previously Vice President of Sales at Travelocity, launched the national sales division for Travelocity's Internet Travel Management group generating over $45MM in annual revenues. Prior to Travelocity, Tota was Vice President of Sales for Citysearch.com where he ran advertising sales for more than years. His previous experience includes management and consulting positions within the travel industry and ownership of his own manufacturing firm in New York City.
