WANTED: Online Thrill Seekers for Studiocom's Newest Online Experience
Studiocom launches immersive website and interactive comic book for TNT's gritty new drama series
ATLANTA, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Studiocom, a leading full-service interactive agency, announced today that it has launched an immersive online experience to promote the new TNT original dramatic series WANTED, an edgy crime thriller that follows a specialized team of law enforcement officers as they track down Los Angeles' 100 most wanted criminals.
The Studiocom designed and developed site, available at http://alt.tnt.tv/wanted, provides a wealth of information about the show, including the actors, episode synopsis, video trailers, downloads and more. One of the most exciting aspects of the site is the first of three installments of a graphic story, based on the series, titled Ignition. Episode 1 contains an embedded game in which the player must help two of the show's characters fly a helicopter. The print version of the comic book has also been included with various enthusiast magazines as part of an integrated campaign by TNT that includes web, print, television and radio.
Juan Pablo Gnecco, CEO and Founder of Studiocom commented, "One of Studiocom's greatest strengths is our ability to concept and create experiences that immerse the user in the brand. Interacting with the online comic book and playing the game pulls the user into the action of the show. It is very powerful and the site is a great example of the innovative activations clients have come to expect from Studiocom."
"We always love it when we get a chance to use our character development and animation skills, and we are excited to launch installments 2 and 3, which will be even better than the first," commented Mauricio Ruiz, Studiocom's Creative Director on the project.
WANTED comes to TNT from Spelling Television, with Aaron Spelling, E. Duke Vincent and series creator Jorge Zamacona (Oz, Homicide: Life on the Street) serving as executive producers. Mel Efros is the producer, with Jonathan Levin and Louis St. Clair as consulting producers and Tony Palermo as associate producer. Gary Cole (The West Wing), Ryan Hurst (Taken), Rashida Jones (Little Black Book), Benjamin Benitez (Tru Calling), singer/musician Josey Scott of the rock group Saliva, Chris J. Kelly (Medical Investigation), Sasha Pieterse (Family Affair), Lee Tergesen (Oz) and Dedee Pfeiffer (For Your Love) star in the series set to air Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning July 31.
