LOS ANGELES, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- America's Anchorman, Rush Limbaugh, wins the ratings game -- again -- as he approaches his 18th anniversary this August in national syndication. According to the Arbitron Spring 2005 ratings survey for Detroit, The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday on WJR-AM from noon - 3 p.m. is the #1 nationally syndicated talk radio show in the market. Mr. Limbaugh scored, among Persons 12+, an 8.1 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 70,000 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has a 5.8 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 29,600 listeners. Al Franken, who airs at the same time on WDTW-AM in Detroit, has a Persons 12+ share of 0.5 with an average quarter-hour audience of 4,600 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 0.6 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 3,200 listeners. Mr. Limbaugh's audience of Persons 12+ is 15 times larger than Mr. Franken's audience.

Among Adults 25-54, he holds a 3.0 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 15,700 listeners. Mr. Franken, who airs at the same time on WHAT-AM, scored among Persons 12+ a 0.2 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 2,200 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, his share is 0.4 with an average quarter-hour audience of 2,100 listeners. Mr. Limbaugh's audience is more than 20 times the size of Mr. Franken's audience.
