LOS ANGELES, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the Arbitron Spring 2005 ratings survey for Phoenix and Cincinnati, Mr. Rush Limbaugh maintains a significant lead in the ratings race against liberal talkers. In Phoenix, Mr. Limbaugh's Persons 12+ audience is 4.5 times larger than Mr. Al Franken's audience and 5.5 times greater than Mr. Ed Schultz's. Heard Monday through Friday on KFYI-AM from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., The Rush Limbaugh Show scored, among Persons 12+, an 8.1 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 48,600 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has a 6.0 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 20,800 listeners. Mr. Al Franken, who airs on KXXT-AM in Phoenix in a different time slot, has a Persons 12+ share of 1.8 with an average quarter-hour audience of 10,700 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 1.5 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 5,100 listeners. Mr. Schultz also airs on KXXT-AM in a different time slot, and has a Persons 12+ share of 1.5 with an average quarter-hour audience of 8,600. For Adults 25-54, he has a 1.2 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 4,200. Mr. Jerry Springer does not have an affiliate in this market.

In Cincinnati, The Rush Limbaugh Show is heard Monday through Friday on WKRC-AM from noon to 3 p.m. and scored a Persons 12+ share of 7.0 with an average quarter-hour audience of 23,500 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has a 5.1 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 10,300 listeners. Mr. Franken, who airs at the same time on WCKY-AM, scored among Persons 12+ a 1.0 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 3,400 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, his share is 1.3 with an average quarter-hour audience of 2,600 listeners. Mr. Limbaugh's Persons 12+ audience is nearly seven times greater than the audience of Mr. Franken, Mr. Schultz, and Mr. Springer.

In St. Louis, The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on KMOX-AM, is the #1 radio show in the timeslot for Persons 12+. The three liberal talkers previously mentioned do not have affiliates in this market.
Another market they do not air in is Pittsburgh, where Mr. Limbaugh enjoyed an increase in audience. Since last year, for Persons 12+, his audience increased 141 percent and for Adults 25-54, his audience increased 93 percent. His show airs on WPGB-FM from noon - 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Known as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism, Mr. Limbaugh is also widely credited with resuscitating AM radio by many industry experts.
