Plurality of U.S. Adults Think President Bush Should Nominate a Moderate for the Next Supreme Court Justice
The Harris Poll says when it comes to replacing Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, more than four out of ten U-S adults think President Bush should nominate a moderate judge to fill her seat, as compared to 23 percent who think she should be replaced with a conservative judge and 15 percent who think President Bush should nominate a liberal judge. Another 19 percent are not sure.

A survey says over thirty-nine percent of Americans expect to purchase an average of three high-end digital electronics products by the end of 2005. The Ziff Davis Media "Digital Life in America" study reveals that, in the next six months Americans plan to purchase more video game consoles, digital cameras and digital video recorders, flat-panel T-Vs, laptops and Voice of the Internet Protocols (VoIP). Participants also revealed how different attitudes, experiences and prior ownership affect their intent to purchase each category.

New Survey Findings Reveal Critical Perception Gaps About Emergency Care as Annual Emergency Room Visits Hit Record Highs
A new national survey indicates that while the vast majority of U-S adults feel confident that they know when a cut is serious enough to require emergency care, there is a considerable disconnect after actually reaching the emergency room. The survey, commissioned by Ethicon, Incorporated found that more than one-third of U-S adults feel only somewhat or not at all confident that they would know the right questions to ask if they had to go to the emergency room for a serious cut or laceration. Even more astoundingly, more than two in five adults believe they do not have a choice in the type of care they receive once they are at the emergency room.
