Discovery Institute Fellow John Wohlstetter's New Blog Brings Capitol Perspective
SEATTLE, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Institute Senior Fellow for Technology and Society John C. Wohlstetter is pleased to announce the launch of his online diary, "Letter from The Capitol" ( http://www.letterfromthecapitol.com/ ). A true renaissance man, Wohlstetter will offer his insights on topics as diverse as D.C. politics, the war on terrorism, and jazz.

Wohlstetter is a retired attorney with 22 years experience practicing corporate law for such clients as the Contel Corporation, GTE, and Verizon. Wohlstetter has degrees from the University of Miami (1969: B.B.A., Finance), Fordham University School of Law (1977: J.D.) and George Washington University (1985: M.A. Public Policy, concentration: Telecommunications).
Wohlstetter currently publishes an online newsletter, "Bandwidth," for Discovery's Technology and Democracy Project ( http://www.discovery.org/bandwidth ) focusing on telecommunications and the national security implications of information technology. He has also been published online and in print in The American Spectator, and he writes for National Review Online on subjects ranging from telecommunications to space and defense policy.
A lifelong classical and jazz pianist, he serves on two arts boards as a director -- the National Symphony Orchestra and the Washington Bach Consort. Wohlstetter also serves as a trustee with the Hudson Institute and the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction.
