NTN's Buzztime(R) Launches New Trivia Game Service With Canada's Largest Digital TV Provider

New Subscription Service Adds Player Rankings Between Households, Multiple Game Formats, Richer Graphics and a Pay-Per-Day Payment Option

CARLSBAD, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Buzztime Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of NTN Communications, Inc. (AMEX:NTN), announced today the launch of a new and enhanced Buzztime Trivia game subscription service to subscribers with Bell ExpressVu, Canada's largest digital TV provider.

The new Buzztime Trivia service includes a richer visual experience and two options for play -- single player mode and multiple players in the home competing in Buzztime's Pass-the-Remote(R) mode. The single player mode also includes the ability for players to see their score on Buzztime's in-game Leader Board. Players enter their final game score on the web and if their score is among the top 25 players in that game, their player name will appear in the Buzztime Leader Board.

The product launch is part of an expanded license agreement between Bell ExpressVu and Buzztime that also includes additional development responsibilities. The Buzztime Trivia service replaces the NTN Trivia service that was developed by Bell ExpressVu under their preexisting license agreement with NTN Interactive Network, Inc., NTN Communications' former Canadian distributor.

Bell ExpressVu subscribers can choose from either a CDN $3.00 monthly subscription or a CDN $1.50 pay-per-day option. The payment is added to the subscriber's existing monthly billing statement.
