Liberty Global's 100% Owned Subsidiary UPC Holding B.V. Prices 500 Million Euro Senior Note Offering
DENVER, July 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Liberty Global Inc. ("Liberty Global") today announced that its 100% owned subsidiary UPC Holding B.V. ("UPC Holding") has priced and placed EUR 500 million of Senior Notes due 2014 following the completion of UPC Holding's previously announced offering. The Senior Notes mature on January 15, 2014 and bear interest at a rate of 7.75% per annum. The Senior Notes are expected to be issued to the initial purchasers on July 29, 2005.
Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. The Senior Notes are secured by a first ranking pledge of all shares of UPC Holding.
