BRAINERD, Minn., July 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nature Vision, Inc. (NASDAQ:NRVN) recently announced new products for 2005. Nature Vision, Inc. markets Aqua-Vu underwater viewing systems, Buzz Stix, Blazer Stix, Genz Stix ice rods, and other outdoor recreation products.

Genz Stix (Silver and Gold Series) are premium ice fishing rods and rod-reel combos named after Dave Genz, the most nationally recognized ice fishing expert. Dave Genz personally designed each rod in the Genz Stix series.

Silver Series Genz Stix include eight quality-crafted, Genz-designed ice rods that are reasonably priced. The Silver Series offers great value plus practical action and length choices - under $15 for rods, under $20 for rod-reel combos!

Silver Series Genz Stix come with precision-ground solid fiberglass blanks, 5-inch cork handles with self-aligning reel seats, and light-weight Dyna-flo guides that resist freeze-up. Combos include a 1-ball-bearing spinning reel with insulated reel foot.

The eight Silver Series rod choices, also available in rod-reel combos, include Bluegill/Crappie, 23" & 27" (2-4 lb. line); Perch, 23" & 27" (4-6 lb. line); Walleye, 25" & 29" (4-8 lb. line); Walleye, 25" & 29" (6-10 lb. line).

Gold Series Genz Stix include fourteen quality-crafted, Genz-designed ice rods. The Gold Series offers superior performance and precision actions - under $20 for rods, under $30 for rod-reel combos!

Gold Series Genz Stix come with precision-ground solid graphite blanks, 5-inch cork handles with self-aligning reel seats, and light-weight Dyna-flo guides that resist freeze-up. Combos include a 2-ball-bearing spinning reel with custom shallow-aluminum spool, instant anti-reverse, and insulated reel foot. (Select models feature underspin or casting reels.)
