WHAT: As the National Spokesperson for PADRES Contra El Cancer, a non-profit charity dedicated to improving the lives of Latino children with cancer and their families, EVA LONGORIA, will throw out the first pitch at this Sunday's Los Angeles Angels versus New York Yankees game at Angel Stadium.

PADRES Contra El Cancer, a community partner of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, was recently honored by the Club with the Angels/Wells Fargo Gracias Award, which recognizes organizations dedicated to making a positive difference in the Latino community.

Longoria has been the Spokesperson for PADRES since 2004 and in March, 2005 received the organization's first-ever Ruby Oliva Cedillo Award for her outstanding work as an ambassador for Latino children with cancer and their families.
